A significant force in GB Men team, Gregg Warburton was voted MVP at the 2018 World Championships, and was part of the All-Star Five at the 2022 Worlds.

As well as his wheelchair basketball success on the domestic circuit, off the court in 2012 Gregg was one of eight players from the GB U22 Team to receive the great honour of being selected to carry the Paralympic Flag into the stadium at the Opening Ceremony of the London Paralympic Games. In 2015, Gregg was presented with the Junior of the Year Award at the Richard Langhorn Trust Wheelchair Basketball Awards.

In 2016 Gregg made his Paralympic debut with the GB Men’s senior team at the Rio Games, where he and the squad brought home the bronze medal after a tough game against Turkey.

2017 Gregg captained the GB Junior team on their U23 World Championships campaign. Gregg and the team made history in Toronto claiming the World Championship crown and being the first ever GB men’s junior team to medal at a U23 Worlds.

Gregg was a member of the 2018 GB squad who secured the gold medal win after a dramatic defeat of the USA team in Hamburg.
